Your guide will meet you at your hotel in the morning. The day begins with a walk through Athens, stopping at family-run eateries serving traditional Greek dishes. The tour includes freshly baked koulouri, Thessaloniki-style bougatsa, and Greek coffee. A visit to the Central Market offers a selection of regional specialties, including cold cuts, cheeses, and raki. The tour continues with souvlaki and ends with honey-drizzled loukoumades. After the meal, the walk proceeds to the Acropolis. The route passes the Parthenon, the Erechtheion, and the Temple of Athena Nike. The path leads through the Grand Propylaea and descends to the Odeon of Herodes Atticus and the Theater of Dionysus. The final stop is the Acropolis Museum, where artifacts and sculptures provide insight into ancient Athens. The tour lasts approximately eight hours and includes uphill walking and stairs. On your first day in Milos Island, you will have the morning to spend at your own pace. Perhaps you would like to take a stroll to your nearest beach or visit a local market, or simply just enjoy the view from your hotel room ready for a full afternoon of exploring. Then, you will be greeted by a guide who will give you a tour of all the hotspots the island has to offer. The first stop of your tour will be at Sarakiniko where you can take in the stunning views from its white rock formations that aren't like any other. After this brief stop, you will then be taken to Trypiti Village to visit the Ancient City of Milos and its Roman ruins including a theater, and the same spot where the well-known Venus de Milo status was once found. You can also try local delicacies like traditional cheese pies and tomato fritters whilst you walk around. Next, you'll continue to Plaka, the island's traditional capital, where you can stroll around the streets and try Greek foods such as "koufeto" and watermelon pie. Afterward, head to the Mandrakia Fisherman Village, where you can walk around and take in the colorful boathouses and the local fishing community. Finish your tour with a visit to a winery in Pollonia where you get to try local Greek wines and learn about the winemaking process and take in the vineyards views. You will then return to your hotel to relax for the evening.
