Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions apply to all tours arranged by Great Vacations Ltd dba as Finest Journeys departing between January 1, 2024, and December 31, 2024 and for all future years until updated. The company will be referred to throughout this document as Finest Journeys.
When you make a booking you guarantee that you have the authority to accept the terms of this agreement on behalf of all members of your party.
TOUR RESERVATION AND PAYMENT
Deposit We charge a non – refundable deposit of 30% of the total cost of your travel arrangements which acts as a trip planning fee and covers Finest Journeys committed costs.
Your final payment is due to Finest Journeys at least 90 days prior to travel date. If you book less than 90 days prior to departure then you must make full payment at the time of booking.
Payments can be made by wire transfer, bank payment or by any major credit card.
Failure to make payments by the due date may result in the cancellation of your entire trip and loss of deposits.
Custom Journeys payment may vary from the above according to individual itinerary. You will be advised of any such variation at time of booking. We may also require a non- refundable tour planning fee of $250 that will be credited to your final payment.
Failure to make payments as scheduled above may results is cancellation of your tour booking and loss of deposits.
CANCELLATIONS
Cancellations by you
Cancellation notification must be submitted in writing or email and is effective from the date Finest Journeys receives your written or emailed notification.
Cancellation fees will apply as follows:
Days notification of cancellation Cancellation charge per person

Between 61 and 90 days 50%
Between 31 and 60 days 75%
30 days or less 100%
Internal air and some elements in custom built tours (event tickets etc) are non refundable and will be charged in addition to the above cancellation fees.
Finest Journeys will always endeavour to operate all tours, but many operational circumstances and tour itinerary elements are outside our control. We reserve the right to cancel a tour at any time for any reason and Finest Journeys will not be responsible for any additional expenses that may occur as a result of such cancellation.
AMENDMENTS AND BOOKING CHANGES
Finest Journeys will always try to accommodate your requested changes to a deposited reservation. Any such change will incur a $250 amendment fee plus any additional charges for extra or modified services.
If you wish to make a change to your arrangements while on the trip this is your sole responsibility, and any additional cost must be paid by you. It is not possible to make refunds for any services or accommodation booked but not used on your trip.
Finest Journeys reserves the right to modify a tour itinerary as it deems necessary or desirable and will inform you of any such changes. In such an event, you will have the right to cancel your reservation without cancellation charges and Finest journeys will not be responsible for any additional expenses (including airfares) that may occur as a result of such cancellation.
PRICING
Custom journey pricing is quoted on a per tour basis (not per person) unless otherwise specifically mentioned and is based on current costs and rates of exchange at time of publication. Finest Journeys reserves the right to amend prices up to the date of receiving final payment or 90 days prior to date of travel whichever is earlier.
GUARANTEED DEPARTURES
All Small Group Journeys are guaranteed to depart but Finest Journeys reserve the right to amend the published itinerary and price if they deem the number of guests is too small to make up a group journey.
You will have the right to cancel your reservation without cancellations charge in such an event and Finest Journeys will not be responsible for any additional expenses (including airfares) that may occur as a result of such cancellation.
TOUR INCLUSIONS AND EXCLUSIONS
All accommodations, arrival and departure transfers, transport with bottled water, English speaking guides, sightseeing, excursions and meals as stated in your tour itinerary are all included in the cost of your tour. Only flights specifically mentioned and ticketed by Finest journeys are included in your trip cost.
The following items are not included in your tour price :- Travel Protection insurance, tips, alcohol, personal expenses, visa and border charges. Additional charges may be due for oversize or extra baggage in excess of 50 pounds (20kg) and 62 inches outer dimension plus a standard size carry-on bag.
TRAVELERS’ RESPONSIBILTIES
Experience of local cultures is an important and enjoyable part of the Finest Journeys tours. Travelers should be ready to enjoy cultural differences with grace and sensitivity.
To enjoy your Finest Journeys tour, guests should be have a minimum level of fitness. It is important that you advise Finest Journeys at time of booking request if any member of the party has any physical impairment or special dietary requirements.
PROMOTIONAL PHOTOGRAPHY
Finest Journeys reserves the right to take photographs and / or videos during the operation of any tour or part thereof and to use them for promotional purposes. By booking a tour with Finest Journeys, guests agree to allow their images to be used in such photographs. Guests who prefer that their images not be used are asked to make this request known in writing at time of booking.
TRAVEL PROTECTION INSURANCE
We strongly recommend the purchase of travel insurance. For peace of mind travelers should carry full travel insurance including medical and repatriation cover.
Adequate insurance is essential. It is a condition of booking that the sole responsibility lies with you to ensure that you carry the correct comprehensive travel and medical insurance to cover yourself, as well as any dependents and traveling companions for the duration of your tour. This insurance should include coverage in respect of, but not limited to, the following eventualities: cancellation or curtailment of the Trip, emergency evacuation expenses, medical expenses, repatriation expenses, damage or loss of personal baggage, money and goods. Finest journeys will take no responsibility for any costs for losses incurred or suffered by you or your dependents or traveling companions, with regards to, but not limited to, any of the above-mentioned eventualities. You will be charged directly by the relevant service providers for any emergency services you may require and may find yourself in a position unable to access such services should you not be carrying the relevant insurance coverage.
Unexpected surprises can make life exciting. But not when they interfere with your vacation. Our tour insurance protection plan covers the unexpected by providing coverage for trip cancellation and trip interruption, plus accident and medical expenses, baggage loss and delay, travel delay and more.
