Welcome to
Zimbabwe
What we love about
Zimbabwe
Once acclaimed as the breadbasket of Africa, Zimbabwe has re-established itself post-Mugabe as a friendly and hospitable country with a lot to offer. Laidback towns, forested mountains and mighty rivers provide a home for a diversity of wildlife including elephants, buffalo, rhinos, leopards and lions. Seeing these awesome creatures in their own backyard causes every visitor to hold their breathe in awe. Another breathtaking moment is the first sightings of Victoria Falls, one of the natural wonders of the world. Standing on an overlook hearing the roaring noise and seeing the spray is an unmatchable experience. Stand in awe of the cave rock art in Matobo National Park and see gatherings of giraffes, zebras and elephants living in harmony in the massive Hwange National Park. Visit the mystifying ruins of Great Zimbabwe, a former capital in their late Iron Age, and go bungee jumping from the Victoria Falls Bridge if you still need an adrenaline fix.
