Your 14 day journey begins in Cairo, where you will see the pyramids of Giza and the Great Sphinx before visiting the Egyptian Museum, home to a range of ancient artefacts reflecting Egypt’s long past. From Cairo you travel south to Aswan, a relaxed city along the Nile River. Sail on a traditional felucca and enjoy the calm scenery as you move along the water, then visit the Philae Temple dedicated to Isis. You will also spend time with the Nubian community to learn about their traditions and the character that defines their way of life. Next you continue to Luxor, the ancient city once known as Thebes. Visit the Valley of the Kings, the resting place of pharaohs and queens, and see Hatshepsut’s Temple along with the Karnak Temple Complex, two sites that show the scale of Egypt’s architectural heritage. After your time in Luxor you travel to the Red Sea coast in El Gouna.
