about this tour

See Denmark through a journey shaped by culture, history, and modern design. Over eight days, you will travel through Copenhagen, Odense, Roskilde, and northern Zealand, discovering cities, coastal scenery, and landmarks that reflect the country’s character. Each destination contributes a different perspective, from royal castles to Viking era sites and architectural highlights. In Copenhagen, you will explore a capital known for its balance of heritage and innovation. Visits to Christiansborg, Amalienborg, Rosenborg Castle, and the harbour at Nyhavn introduce the layers of the city, while its contemporary districts show how design influences daily life. Beyond the capital, the itinerary leads through historic towns and quiet countryside. Odense offers insight into Hans Christian Andersen’s legacy, and Jelling presents Denmark’s early history through its UNESCO recognised stones and Viking monuments. Roskilde adds another dimension with the Viking Ship Museum and its interactive exhibits. The journey continues through Zealand’s castle region, where Frederiksborg’s Renaissance architecture and Kronborg’s coastal setting provide a clear view of Denmark’s royal traditions. Along the way, regional food and local tastings add to the experience. With private guiding, organised visits, and time to enjoy the surroundings, this itinerary offers a balanced introduction to Danish culture, design, and heritage for couples, families, or small groups seeking a well planned tour.

A visit to Billund, the hometown of LEGO, is a highlight of the tour. At the LEGO House, next to the original LEGOLAND, you can take part in hands-on activities designed to encourage play and creativity for all ages. One of the most memorable parts of the visit is the dining experience, where you build a LEGO version of your meal, which is then prepared and served by robots. This stop offers a fun and interactive way to experience the world of LEGO where it began. It’s a playful addition to the journey.
