What we love about
Malawi
Malawi is a colorful land in southeast Africa, best known for its geographical diversity. Those looking for a country of uncrowded beaches, diving, snorkeling and wildlife spotting will be enchanted from day one. The successful re-introduction of lions to Majete Wildlife Reserve provide excellent safari excursions. Adrenalin seekers and hikers can scale the dramatic peaks of Mount Mulanje or explore the mysterious Zomba Plateau. Horseback and 4X4 safaris take the strain as you explore Malawi’s nine national parks and wildlife reserves that promote ecological awareness. Sleep beneath the myriad stars on stilted thatched platforms for the ultimate back-to-nature experience! The Great Rift Valley cuts through the landscape in a deep trough formed as tectonic plates divide. In the depths of this natural trough is Lake Malawi, Africa’s third largest lake. It’s a nature lover’s wonderland. The deep shimmering waters are alive with multi-hued cichlid fish and thousands of birds. It’s a haven for fishing, snorkeling and watersports too.
